India: Bangladeshi migrants screaming ‘Allahu akbar’ tell Indians, ‘One day we will own your home’

ISI/DI: This article only tells part of the story. Muslims have been beating up on Hindus for quite some time, pushing them to the brink. Loys of intimidation, forced conversions, killings, etc.
To the Indian government’s credit, they have begun to push back, rounding up Muslims, whether immigrants or Indian citizens, and sending them to Bangladesh, where most of the migrants have come from.
If you are not familiar with Bangladesh’s history, I encourage you to read up on it. Check it out from 1946-1948. That should tell you what you need to know. More on Bangladesh in the next post.
Bangladesh: Jihadists Establishing an Islamic Theocracy?
https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/21753/bangladesh-jihadists-islamic-theocracy

ISI/DI: In recent years, concerns have been raised about the potential for jihadist groups in Bangladesh to establish an Islamic theocracy. These concerns are fueled by several factors:
- Political instability and weakened security infrastructure: Bangladesh has experienced significant political upheaval, including the ousting of the previous Prime Minister in 2024. This instability and the resulting weakened state of law enforcement and intelligence agencies have created an environment where extremist groups may potentially gain traction.
- Presence and activities of extremist groups: Groups like Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS), Islamic State-Khorasan (ISK), and Hizb ut-Tahrir-Bangladesh (HT-B) advocate for the establishment of an Islamic state ruled by their interpretation of Shari’a law. The JI has historical goals of establishing an Islamist state through political means, though it also has ties to groups that use violence.
- Exploitation of social and economic grievances: Extremist groups exploit existing social inequalities, poverty, inadequate education, and political instability to recruit and radicalize individuals, particularly youth.
- Rise of online radicalization and extremist rhetoric: Digital platforms are increasingly used to spread extremist propaganda and recruit new members, exacerbating the challenge of containing radicalization.
- Vulnerability to regional and transnational influences: Bangladesh’s geographic location and the Rohingya crisis are factors that extremist groups could potentially exploit for recruitment and expansion.
Government Response and Challenges
The Bangladeshi government, including the recent interim administration led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has stated a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and religious extremism. They have undertaken efforts such as counterterrorism operations, community engagement campaigns, and cooperation with international partners to address these threats.
However, the effectiveness of these efforts is subject to limitations:
- Impact of political instability on law enforcement: The political turmoil has damaged the reputation and morale of law enforcement agencies, potentially hampering their ability to effectively counter terrorism.
- Gaps in law enforcement and justice system: Challenges exist in ensuring long-term punishment for arrested militants due to issues within the legal system, potentially enabling them to be released on bail and rejoin extremist groups.
- Need for comprehensive strategies: Experts emphasize the need for a comprehensive approach that addresses the root causes of radicalization, including social reforms, economic development, and digital literacy initiatives, in addition to law enforcement efforts.
While Bangladesh is not currently an Islamic theocracy, there are significant concerns about the potential for jihadist groups to exploit existing vulnerabilities and strive towards this goal. Countering this threat requires sustained efforts by the Bangladeshi government and international partners, addressing both the immediate security concerns and the underlying socio-economic and ideological factors that contribute to radicalization.
Reports from recent months indicate a growing presence and increasing activities of Islamist groups in Bangladesh, raising concerns among some about the potential for establishing an Islamic theocracy.
Bangladesh has a history of secular principles and governments have taken steps to counter terrorism. Still, there are increasing concerns about the rise of radical Islamist ideologies and the potential impact on the country’s secular identity and the rights of minorities.
Minneapolis Democrats endorse democratic socialist for mayor over incumbent
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jul/21/omar-fateh-minneapolis-mayor-endorsements#img-1

ISI/DI: Recent events indicate that State Senator Omar Fateh secured the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party’s endorsement for the upcoming Minneapolis mayoral election.
Significance: In Minneapolis, a heavily DFL city, securing the party endorsement is often considered a strong indicator of success in the general election. However, Frey’s challenge and the reported issues at the convention introduce uncertainty into the race. The endorsement provides Fateh with access to party resources, but Frey’s campaign is expected to contest this and could be at a disadvantage in terms of resources and party support.
Fateh’s background: Fateh is a Somali-American who is Muslim and was first elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2021. He is described as a Democratic Socialist (sound familiar?).
Endorsement specifics: Fateh won the DFL endorsement by gaining over 60 percent of the delegate votes at the convention. This breaks a 16-year streak of a mayoral candidate receiving the DFL endorsement.
Controversy: Incumbent Mayor Jacob Frey is reportedly challenging the endorsement process, citing irregularities and a flawed convention. Some observers questioned whether Fateh truly exceeded the required 60 percent majority.
Wonder if he and Mamdani will compare notes and share Soros finding?
Minneapolis “Mamdani”: Another Jihadi Communist Wins Mayoral Nomination Despite Previous Charges of Ballot Fraud and Taxpayer-Funded 500K Graft Payoff to Somali TV

ISI/DI: Recent political events in Minneapolis have seen State Senator Omar Fateh receive the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) endorsement for Mayor, rather than the incumbent Mayor Jacob Frey. Fateh, the first Somali American to serve in the Minnesota Senate, won over 60 percent of the delegate vote at the DFL convention. This indicates a shift in the party’s preferred candidate for the upcoming mayoral election in 2025.
“Taxpayer-Funded 500K Graft Payoff to Somali TV”: There are allegations that City Council Member Jamal Osman intervened on behalf of “Feeding Our Future” organizations when the Department of Education withheld payments due to fraud concerns. It is alleged that he arranged a call with the Commissioner of the Department of Education to push for the release of funds. At that time, his wife’s organization, Urban Advantage Services, was reportedly billing for meals that were not provided. While Osman has not been charged, a nonprofit founded by him was later transferred to individuals involved in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme. Urban Advantage was subsequently shut down by the state Attorney General. The specific figures and claims of a “payoff to Somali TV” are not clearly supported by the provided information, which focuses on the alleged connection to the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme.
