Two Israeli embassy staff shot dead outside Jewish Museum in Washington

ISI/DI: It was the summer of 1957. We were moving from Houston to Atlanta and temporarily landed at an apartment complex on Piedmont Road. I remember there was a Borden Dairy plant just up the road.
Our apartment was at the very end and the woods were right behind us. Just a short run down the ditch and sometimes muddy path was Mooney’s Lake, where we spent much of our time that summer.
The end of World War II was barely a decade old. I learned about it from the family who lived next door to us in the apartments. They were a Jewish family, which meant very little to me at the time. I was ten and had spent more time living overseas (Saudi Arabia, Panama Canal Zone, and Kodiak Island, Alaska – ten years before Alaska became a state).
Now, fast forward 68 years to 2025. A young couple, preparing to be engaged in another week, murdered executed in cold blood on the streets of our nation’s capital …… simply because they were Jewish. The two staff members from the Israeli Embassy to the United States were shot and killed late Wednesday when leaving the Jewish Museum; two other individuals were also injured.
Something broke last night in America. Something completely changed. The murderous terror attack that claimed the lives of these two young Israeli embassy staff members in Washington D.C. Yes, they were staff members of the Israeli embassy to the Untied Sates. The staff of embassies around the world are protected by law of the host country.

The chickens have come home to roost. The constant blood libels pushed by the far left and now the Qatari funded Woke Right, essentially blaming Israel or Jews for everything, has inspired Americans who are not even Arab to kill Jews.
Unfortunately, most Jews in America still prefer to hope the beast of antisemitism, now morphed into backing a real terrorist organization, can be stopped. Here is the truth: it will only get worse. It is time to recognize that this mind virus is built into the reality we live in. One can either escape the reality before them or face it head on. It is time to choose.

ISI/DI: Muslim children of today …… are tomorrow’s terrorist. It’s a fact. There is no debate, because there is nothing to debate. Muslims are keenly aware of what is to take place — even if only in their minds — in just 85 years. Muhammad set the date, 1,500 years — or 2110. Even if Americans are complacent, and believe it is just some arbitrary date that a group of people with turbans and headscarves want to believe …… well, that is the key. It is WHAT THEY BELIEVE. It makes no matter what we believe because we are not the ones acting on it. This is their deal and it requires nothing from anyone else. NOTHING, NADA, ZERO. It only matters to them.
There is one little problem tough. If we …… Americans …… do not act on it, it will be our downfall, meaning, they win. They do take over the world, just like they said they would. Game over.
What people fail to understand is that this whole thing is their belief. It becomes true because of two things:
1. They act on their beliefs; and,
2. We do nothing to try and stop them.
Again, GAME OVER.
Canada: Hamas supporters scream ‘Death to Canada, Death to the United States, Death to Israel’

ISI/DI: I wonder how Canada feels about being lumped into the same basket as the U.S. …… or, even Israel? We may sell a lot to Canada and provide her protection militarily, but it’s been a long time since we’ve seen eye-to-eye on issues together.

ISI/DI: One more Muslim with eyes on changing America. No one wants to be a part of what America already is …… improve themselves by improving America. Not one Muslim have I heard say that. Why?
At the risk of beating a dead horse ……… Muslims are one of the few, if not the only group of people who come with a complete way of life that encompasses all aspects of their daily lives, from personal conduct to social interactions and even governance. This belief stems from the view that the Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad provide guidance on how to live a fulfilling and righteous life in accordance with Allah’s will.
Religion
Influence Of The Qur’an
Here is a breakdown of relevant Qur’anic themes:
1. Maintaining Islamic Identity:
- Emphasis on adhering to Islamic teachings : The Qur’an pplrepeatedly emphasizes the importance of following Allah’s guidance and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad;
- Focus on the afterlife: The Qur’an often reminds believers that this life is temporary and that their actions will be judged in the afterlife, potentially discouraging them from prioritizing worldly cultural norms over religious obligations;
- Distinction between believers and non-believers: The Qur’an makes a clear distinction between Muslims and non-Muslims.
2. Avoiding Blameworthy Practices:
- Prohibition of idolatry and associating partners with Allah: Muslims “are strictly prohibited from engaging in practices associated with idolatry or polytheism, which could be prevalent in some cultures.
- Avoidance of sinful behavior: The Qur’an condemns various forms of sinful behavior, such as alcohol consumption, gambling, and promiscuity, which may be common in some cultures.
3. Importance of Integration and Interaction:
- Encouragement of good relations with non-Muslims: The Qur’an advocates for justice, kindness, and good relations with people of other faiths, as long as they are not hostile towards Muslims.
- Distinction between assimilation and integration: Many Muslims differentiate between assimilation (which implies abandoning one’s identity) and integration, (which involves participating in society while maintaining one’s distinct cultural and religious identity).
4. In Conclusion:
While the Qur’an does not explicitly forbid assimilation, it emphasizes the importance of maintaining Islamic identity and adhering to religious principles. Muslims are encouraged to be mindful of cultural practices that may conflict with their faith and to prioritize their religious obligations. At the same time, the Qur’an promotes peaceful coexistence and interaction with people of other faiths and cultures.
Well, there you have a textbook answer on Islam. What about the ‘real world’ answer, though? That answer is not so sugar-coated as the textbook answer.
Jurisprudence
Influence Of Shari’a
Each school is named after the scholar who founded it, and the difference in their methods of interpreting Islamic law:
- The Shafiʽi school prevails in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Yemen, and some areas in the Middle East. This was the first school to systematize the sources of Islamic law in order of authority, with the Qur’an as superior, followed by the Sunna, the consensus of Muslim scholars, and analogy.
- The Hanbali school, Islam’s most conservative and focused on select texts, spawned the Wahhabi and Salafi branches. Saudi Arabia embraces this school.
- The Jaʽfari school, the main Shi’ite madhhab, is preferred by Shi’a-majority Iran, Iraq, parts of Lebanon and South Asia, and in eastern Saudi Arabia. It places great significance on the fatwas of early jurists and emphasizes reason over analogy.
- The Maliki school dominates in North and sub-Saharan Africa, as well as in parts of the Arab Gulf. It is the only school that considers the consensus of the people of seventh-century Medina as a source of law, out of the belief that the people of Medina best preserved the traditions of the Prophet Mohammed, who lived there.
- The Hanafi school is regarded as the most liberal and the most focused on reason and analogy. It’s favored by Sunnis in the Balkans, the Caucasus, Central Asia, China, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Turkey, and large parts of the Arab world.
Application Of Shari’a By Country
Shari’a means Islamic law based on Islamic concepts based from the Qur’an and Hadith. Since the early Islamic states of the eighth and ninth centuries, Shari‘a always existed alongside other normative systems.
Historically, Shari’a was interpreted by independent jurists (muftis), based on Islamic scriptural sources and various legal methodologies. In the modern era, statutes inspired by European codes replaced traditional laws in most parts of the Muslim world, with classical Shari’a rules retained mainly in personal status laws. Countries such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have islam as their state religion but haven’t implemented shari’a law fully. These laws were codified by legislative bodies which sought to modernize them without abandoning their foundations in traditional jurisprudence. The Islamic revival of the late 20th century brought along calls by Islamist movements for full implementation of Shari’a, including hudud capital punishments, such as stoning, which in some cases resulted in traditionalist legal reform. Some countries with Muslim minorities use Shari’a-based laws to regulate banking, economics, inheritance, marriage and other governmental and personal affairs of their Muslim population. The question of Sharia law’s application in non-Muslim countries and to non-Muslims is a complex and contentious issue, sparking debate within and outside Muslim communities.
