Hamas pushing to release bodies of dead captives in lieu of live hostages – report
ISI/DI: Read the headline very carefully. I had hopes back in April. That was when the last POL/Proof Of Life was received. It was then I put the odds at zero. Since that time Hamas has done nothing but stall and offer excuses.
Now, they want to release ‘dead’ bodies in lieu of live bodies? What does that tell you? I hate it that I’ve thought from the beginning — April, 2024 — that the hostages were dead or enslaved some place else …… some other terrorist group. It may be that the best we can hope for them is enslavement in some terrorist group and Hamas does not have the means to track them. I do not wish them dead, nor do I wish them a lifetime of enslavement that will be continued abuse. It’s a catch 22.

ISI/DI: Trump is tough and he will for sure let folks know there is a new sheriff in town. He knows how Washington runs now, and I believe he will make every attempt to make changes. Can he do that in a four-year term? He’s already off and running …… selected his team, given them the authority to do their job.
What does that have to do with letting the hostages go? Only that it speaks to his business acumen, his ability to make good judgments and quick decisions, perhaps better than any president, at least in my lifetime. He is quick to grasp the situation, consider the long-term affects, size it up, and act on it.
That is what he brings to the table. He said, “Release the hostages, or else.” If I were Hamas, I would not want to know, “What else.”
