Earlier April, 2019, with most territories held by ISIS having been overtaken by the Americans and their allies after a long and drawn out conflict, U.S. President Donald Trump declared the war against ISIS “100 percent” won, and that ISIS’s reign of terror was now on its last legs.

1001 – 005 – Mapping Terrorism
Terrorism is a simple idea — intentionally targeting non-combatants to instill terror in a way that will accomplish political goals — that has had a profound impact on the world. 1050 – 065 – An ISIS Comeback — Again
Three years ago President Donald J. Trump was riding a wave, saying that ISIS had been defeated. I only wish that had been the case. However, at the time I was saying, “NO!!! ISIS has not been defeated. Look at all the soldiers throughout the Levant, that area of the Middle East that stretches from Libya, going East and working its way back up to Turkey. I noted that there were still over 80,000 soldiers in the region, not to mention the number of affiliates around the world. Yes, Trump did see defeat in certain areas, but not the defeat of the movement.Ip
