ISI/DI: Munich, October 2023, a bit over a year ago. We were vacationing, our first stop was the Oktoberfest .rin Munich.
it started out as a relatively quiet day. We caught a taxi to view several of the museums in town, mostly of artwork from tWorld War II.
Muslims were evident, mostly in groups. of two or three, it not conspicuously, so. Most were there as families, parents and children. No one seemed to be fearful, and no one seemed feared.
There was only one incident that I was aware of, and that was a ‘growing’ group of what looked like Muslims (definitely not Germans). The police broke them up and they moved on.
As we left the grounds, though, two or three young men seemed to follow us. We hailed another taxi, left the area, and that was that.
I do believe that same story, if told today, would have a different outcome.
