ISI/DI: By now it’s old news that Bashar al-Assad has left Syria and taken refuge with one of his allies, Russia. I hope he enjoys the winters there because they are like nothing he’s ever experienced.
Moscow sits a bit north, so it’s closer to the arctic. The winds can be really harsh that far north and the temps drop down below your ankles.
How do I know this? My first time in Moscow was in October 1989, to speak at a conference on Jesus Christ and the virtues of Capitalism — this was two years before the fall of Communism. My next trip was in November 1991 — one month before the fall of Communism. This time, I had been asked by a group of churches located throughout New York state, to help in the selection of 20 young, Russian entrepreneurs, and then provide training for the establishment of 20 small businesses to be funded by the above mentioned churches.
I would end up going back into Russia two more times, once into Moscow and once into Odesa on the Black Sea which was annexed from Ukraine in 2014.

ISI/DI: The average education of Muslims varies widely depending on where they live. Globally, the average education of Muslims is 5.6 years of schooling. This makes Muslims/Islam one of the least educated major religious groups in the world. The average education of Muslims in North America is 13.6 years of schooling.
To a Muslim, if it is not in the Qur’an and/or ruled by Shari’a, then it is irrelevant. The Qur’an along with other Islamic holy books and Shari’a are what matters — they are all that matters. They set the terms by which a Muslim lives and dies. To die for Allah is perhaps the most important thing a Muslim can do. And if it is done in warfare, all the better. Taken in the “right way,” a Muslim does not fear death …… only how it takes place. To the young man above, that five year old boy is but an obstacle to be used by him …… and discarded when finished.

ISI/DI: I’ve spoken before about a physical sickness within Islam. This is it. With Muslims marrying so many wives, including wives of family members who are deceased, they are bound to cross the relationship line at some point. There are medical reasons why this should be avoided.

ISI/DI: If you thought Syria was already an Islamic government, you would be wrong. Syria was under a dictatorship by a Muslim.
However, that is about to change. The new regime will be an Islamic government, bringing with it the full set of Shari’a laws.
