ISI/DI: ISIS is playing at a dangerous game, but one at which they’ve had some success. They attack the down-and-out, offering sanctuary or annihilation. They seek to grow their ranks by verbal intimidation, physical beatings, outright battles — what ever works to their advantage. I’m still waiting to learn more about the new leader, older brother of the first self-proclaimed caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

They think that because some Muslim passed country XYZ in the year of 922 that XYZ is now and always has been, a Muslim land. Instead of discounting everything Islam, it’s time someone stood up and set them straight.
